Sarah Chin
Programme Manager

From a young age, Sarah has had a natural affinity with animals and always knew that she wanted to work with them for a living. This interest led her to study Zoology in her undergraduate years, where she concurrently took on a volunteer role at the Singapore Zoo.

From 2005 to 2022 (with a break of 2 years in between), Sarah worked as an Animal Care staff in the Singapore Zoo. She had the privilege of caring for a myriad of different species – African hoofstock, big cats, primates, and reptiles to name a few. It was during this time that she realised the power of the human-animal connection and its ability to impact one’s psychological wellbeing.

By joining aaisg, Sarah hopes that she will be able to contribute to enriching the lives of others, both human and canine.

Sarah will be enrolling in the 2023 Animals and Human Health Certificate course at the Institute of Human-Animal Connection, University of Denver.
